We were a bit late to the game in posting our year end summary for 2021, but we felt it was important to acknowledge our accomplishments for the year. We celebrated the completion of our third year of active programs, and were awarded a grant from the Federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), which will be used for our programs in the Highline district during the winter and spring school calendar quarters of 2022.

Prior to receiving this funding, we achieved new milestone for the number of sessions conducted and number of students who participated in our programs. For the calendar year, six mentors conducted over 125 sessions, with more than 70 students participating throughout the course of the year. Compared to the previous year, we increased the number of mentoring assignments from six to 10.

Our Mission for 2022: With our Highline District ESSER grant award, we will expand the number of mentoring assignments from 10 to 34, and expect to serve over 140 students.
